Keyholding is the responsibility to hold keys for a predetermined property or portfolio of properties for the purpose of being able to respond and attend either to an emergency alarm response or even a pre-planned visit. Unfortunately emergency call outs, due to their nature, can be at any time, without any prior warning, and generally occur at the worst possible time for the Keyholder which generally would be out of normal working hours and more normally in the middle of the night.
